Role Description You are a seasoned project management professional with 2-5 years of experience who thrives in fast-paced telecommunications environments. You bring strong expertise in managing implementations across various carriers—including facilities-based and non-facilities-based CLECs, ILECs, RBOCs, and large national connectivity providers. You have a solid foundation in telecommunication technologies such as Cable, DIA Internet, MPLS, and SD-WAN, along with a fundamental understanding of basic network IP addressing, layer 1 circuit handoffs, and ISP connectivity. You're an excellent communicator with outstanding organizational skills, and you excel at balancing multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail. Self-motivated and analytically minded, you're comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment while working remotely from a home office. What you’ll do and how you’ll have an impact: - Manage simple to complex new telecom installations, moves, and disconnect orders and projects from initiation through completion. - Coordinate new service and installation dates with Account Managers, Advisors, Implementation Engineers, customers, and vendors. - Ensure adherence to provisioning guidelines and fundamentals to provide accurate and timely communication with customers. - Develop formal project plans, keeping them current and available to the customer. - Utilize customer facing templates and internal systems to keep customers updated and informed, while maintaining internal tracking databases. - Educate customers on product complexities and properly set customer expectations and continuously evaluate project status, identifying factors that may impact commitments and escalating when needed. - Identify processes and procedures that are no longer effective or efficient and recommend improvements. - Ensure that all clients' milestones and deliverables are met in a timely manner, including time-sensitive moves, new products, multi-carrier and/or multi-product solutions. - Quickly identify errors and provide a plan to overcome the impact while implementing measures to avoid recurrence. - Develop a working knowledge of all products and services being implemented. - Act as a strategic resource for the customer's implementation team. - Assist in maintaining an accurate client inventory. - Manage and update scope of work to minimize scope creep. Qualifications - 2-5 years of experience in project management. - 2-3 years of experience in telecommunication technologies including Cable, Data, Internet, SD-WAN and other evolving technologies. - 2-3 years of demonstrated experience managing implementations with various carriers including facilities-based and non-facilities-based CLECs, ILECs, and RBOCs; experience with large/national connectivity providers and ISPs highly desirable. - A fundamental understanding of basic network IP addressing, layer 1 circuit handoffs, and how customers connect to their ISP network. - Excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
