• CVAUSA is recruiting for a Vice President of CardioNexus (CVAUSA’s Affiliate Network). • Responsible for sourcing, cultivating, and closing affiliate relationships with independent cardiology groups across target markets. • Own the full business development lifecycle from market mapping through signed affiliate agreement. • Partner with internal operations and clinical teams to ensure a strong early relationship and seamless handoff to integration. • Build and manage a robust pipeline of independent cardiology group prospects across assigned geographies, with accountability for a defined annual affiliation target. • Conduct proactive outbound outreach to practice owners, managing partners, and key physician stakeholders — by phone, in-person, and at conferences. • Develop deep market intelligence on target groups including ownership structure, payer mix, referral patterns, competitive positioning, and strategic intent. • Qualify prospects against CVAUSA's affiliation criteria and manage pipeline CRM discipline with rigorous stage-gate tracking. • Lead physician-facing discovery conversations that surface practice pain points, financial goals, and long-term succession considerations. • Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer, Chief Innovation Officer, VP of Operations and service line leads to structure affiliate economics, presenting tailored value propositions that connect practice-specific needs to CVAUSA's platform capabilities. • Drive deal progression from initial conversation through executed affiliate agreement, navigating physician partnership dynamics and legal/contracting processes. • Manage multiple complex deal tracks simultaneously with consistent follow-through. • Represent CVAUSA at cardiovascular society meetings, regional conferences, and practice management forums as a visible network ambassador. • Develop market-specific go-to-market strategies in collaboration with leadership, identifying concentrations of independent groups and referral network dynamics. • Gather competitive intelligence on other platforms, regional health systems, and PE-backed groups actively recruiting cardiologists.

Job Requirements

  • 7+ years of business development or sales experience, with meaningful tenure in physician-facing roles (MSO, health system physician enterprise, healthcare services, or similar)
  • Demonstrated track record of closing complex, relationship-driven deals with physician groups or independent medical practices
  • Ability to engage credibly with both physicians (clinical and economic conversations) and practice administrators (operational and financial discussions)
  • Exceptional pipeline discipline — you manage a large prospect portfolio with rigor and never let a deal go cold by accident
  • High EQ and patience in navigating the deliberate, trust-based decision-making culture of physician practices
  • Comfort operating as an individual contributor in a high-autonomy, entrepreneurial environment
  • Willingness to travel 70-80% within assigned geographies
