• Generate and develop new business to meet production goals in temporary, direct hire, and temp-to-hire business • Cross-sell other business units into new relationships • Independently maintain and nurture existing client relationships • Maintain quality company records in CRM and ATS systems • Function as liaison between client companies and operations staff • Negotiate contracts and work agreements making business impactful on behalf of Nelson Connects • Participate in important business/trade events, representing and acting on behalf of Nelson Connects • Use excellent organizational, problem resolution, consultative sales, verbal and written communication skills.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or work equivalent
- One to two years in a sales role
- Knowledge of recruiting practices is a bonus
- Commitment to excellence and high standards
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Acute attention to detail

Role Description The Business Development will build the resellers channel and manage relationships in the related territory. Successful candidates must be passionate and proactive in driving channel development, accountability, and sales growth. - Developing the customers mainly at the Reseller level and increasing sales and SOW. - Create strategies and maximize sell-through of products within channels. - Closely manage and enable the channel performance related to pipeline growth, partner team alignment, forecast accuracy, etc. - Identify key sales opportunities and manage sales against the target. - Work with marketing to drive programs and events to extend the relationships to new prospects. - Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products. - Weekly review of activities and pipeline.
