Role Description The Enterprise Services and Strategy – Value Optimization organization is responsible for supporting all aspects of contracts for IT outsourcing services within the IT organization. This role is responsible for leading thorough audits of IT contracts to optimize savings, and ensure compliance with standards, requirements, and policies. This role will also lead project management responsibilities to track and manage tasks and action items required to align with our goals and savings initiatives. - Conduct and lead detailed audits of IT contracts to assess financial, performance, and compliance. - Identify potential savings opportunities and recommend cost-optimization strategies. - Ensure that IT contracts adhere to organizational standards, requirements, and policies. - Develop and maintain auditing protocols and documentation. - Track project tasks and action items, maintain project plan, ensure timely completion and effective communication. - Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress. - Use project management or automation tools to monitor and report on project status, risks, and issues. - Monitor adherence to internal policies and external regulations within IT contracts. - Provide guidance to relevant teams with the best practices on contract management. - Prepare reports and presentations on findings, savings identified, and project progress. - Conduct trend analysis to identify recurring issues and areas for improvement. - Utilize data analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning. - Support creation and execution of a roadmap to review and address contracts renewals with an emphasis on addressing unfavorable terms. - Creation of PRs in Ariba and audit/verification of invoices and for SOWs executed to support ESS led initiatives. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or related field, with a minimum of 9 years of experience in contract auditing, project management, or a related role. - Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. - In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience. Requirements - Understanding data analytics to support vendor strategy requiring the ability to analyze and predict market trends, automate and optimize processes, and adapt to new information—while ensuring compliance and seamless integration with existing systems. - Working knowledge of IT subcontract management, compliance standards, and financial analysis. - Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects and tracking action items. - Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. - Strong project management and team development skills. - Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification. - Experience with Supply Chain Management and procurement processes. - Knowledge of Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry preferred with specific FAR/DFAR experience. - Understanding IT processes and translating technical concepts into business language is also valuable.
