Job Description

Procurement Specialist

Cyera

Role Description We're looking for a commercially sharp, business-minded procurement professional to own indirect procurement for our US site. You'll manage the full procurement lifecycle across software, SaaS, marketing, and professional services - and act as a genuine business partner to the business units and also Finance, Legal, IT, Security, and Operations. Getting a good deal is the baseline. We want someone who understands what's behind the deal: the risk, the business context, and the long-term relationship. Responsibilities - End-to-End Procurement: Own the full cycle - requirements, RFQ/RFP, negotiation, and contract execution - across software, marketing, and professional services. - Vendor Management: Manage ongoing supplier relationships, renewals, and performance. Identify opportunities to extract value beyond price. - Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Finance, Legal, IT, Security, and Marketing - not as a gatekeeper, but as a partner who understands each team's priorities and earns early involvement by making their lives easier. - Supplier Sourcing: Identify and onboard new suppliers, evaluating commercial terms, security posture, and strategic fit. - Process & Cost Improvement: Lead cost-saving initiatives and process improvements, including risk and compliance management in coordination with Legal and Security. - Data & Automation: Use spend analytics and AI tools to drive better decisions and streamline workflows. Qualifications - 3–5 years of indirect procurement experience, ideally in SaaS or tech - with a strong focus on software and marketing categories. - Solid command of the full P2P cycle - from intake and sourcing through PO management. - Proven negotiator: structures deals that are commercially sound and strategically right long-term, not just cheap. - Strong analytical skills; comfortable working with spend data and building business cases. - Experience with procurement and ERP platforms. - Comfortable with data, automation, and AI tools - and eager to use them. - Excellent communicator; able to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority. - High degree of autonomy and accountability - you manage your own workload and take ownership of your responsibilities. Compensation Information This compensation range represents Cyera’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and Cyera may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in Cyera’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of Cyera’s business and other operational considerations. Final compensation will vary based on seniority and relevance of experience, location, and position requirements. This role may be eligible for potential merit increases based on factors such as individual or company performance, time in role, and other discretionary factors. Benefits - Ability to work remotely, with office setup reimbursement - Competitive salary - Unlimited PTO - Paid holidays and sick time - Health, vision, and dental insurance - Life, short and long-term disability insurance
