• Work on the development and evolution of payment solutions for the VD+ (Direct Sales) ecosystem, supporting the reseller journey; • Technically lead the decoupling of legacy systems (monoliths) into modern microservices architectures; • Ensure code quality and standards using methodologies such as DDD (Domain-Driven Design) and Hexagonal Architecture; • Perform service migrations and support cloud infrastructure, transitioning from Azure to AWS; • Optimize complex queries and manage relational (SQL Server, RDS) and non-relational databases; • Promote an observability culture, monitoring production applications and acting proactively on alerts and logs to ensure payment journey performance; • Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other teams (Checkout, Channels, Financial Products), discussing technical feasibility and refining requirements; • Provide mentoring and support the technical development of other developers, actively participating in Code Review processes.

• Design and architect scalable, high-performance RESTful APIs using .NET, following SOLID principles and design patterns • Design and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL, ensuring performance and data integrity • Architect solutions on AWS using EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudFront and other relevant services • Design and implement critical workflows using n8n to automate complex business processes • Architect messaging solutions with RabbitMQ to ensure reliable communication between services • Containerize applications with Docker, ensuring consistency across development, testing and production • Implement comprehensive unit test coverage with Stryker.NET for mutation analysis and quality assurance • Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality standards and knowledge sharing • Work in a Scrum environment, participating in planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives and sprints • Mentor mid-level and junior developers, disseminating architecture, patterns and best practices • Collaborate with architects, product managers and stakeholders for technical and business alignment • Identify and resolve performance, scalability and security bottlenecks

• Own the full lifecycle of product features, from database schema design and backend implementation to frontend delivery and production monitoring. • Design, build, and maintain scalable event-driven and distributed systems with strong guarantees around reliability and data consistency. • Develop and optimize complex PostgreSQL queries, migrations, and transactional workflows for high-performance financial operations. • Build resilient integrations with third-party systems using webhooks, queues, retry mechanisms, and reconciliation processes. • Implement reliability engineering patterns including idempotency, dead-letter queues (DLQs), outbox patterns, and fault-tolerant processing. • Create responsive and high-quality user interfaces using React and Next.js. • Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve system scalability, observability, and operational excellence. • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar platforms to improve engineering productivity and accelerate delivery. • Participate in code reviews, mentor engineers, and promote best practices for handling sensitive financial and transactional data. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences. • Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions using tools such as Datadog or OpenTelemetry. • Contribute to infrastructure automation and cloud resource management using Infrastructure as Code practices such as Terraform or Pulumi. • Ensure engineering practices align with security, compliance, and regulated-environment requirements including SOC2 and PCI-DSS standards where applicable.
