Role Description This is a great opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in our chargeback operations. As a part of the broader Operations team, you will learn how the business works and have a direct impact on the customer experience. This internship is a good fit for a student with foundational business knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for working with people! What you’ll be working on: - Review customer accounts to compile compelling evidence for bank disputes - Identify and/or contribute to process improvements - Opportunity to participate in special projects (like building tools to help us fight more chargebacks efficiently, working with other departments like the data team and the engineering team on business-related projects) - Analyze chargeback data trends to eliminate chargeback risk factors and drive product improvements Qualifications - You are a post-secondary student, studying a business-related major - Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Workspaces - 1-2 work terms of experience preferred - You have a passion for people, processes, and systems - You have a strong work ethic with a desire to contribute to a fast-growing startup - You are a critical thinker and problem-solver - You can learn quickly, paired with the desire to work hard Requirements - Term: September 8th - December 18th 2026 - Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada, provided they maintain a minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone and are available to work a 40-hour work week. • Provide Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise and experience for assigned Epic module related to Epic Healthy Planet. • Collaborate with end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner and make corrective configuration or enhancements. • Lead medium to large complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows including the design, build, and test phases. • Participate in design and validation sessions and ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up and issue escalation occurs. • Provide technical and/or clinical consultation including application configuration. Review, analyze, and evaluate system needs to develop recommendations for customers. • Develop, support and maintain all required system design and build documents and other system documentation. • Perform daily monitoring of applications in production use. • Actively participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle and perform unit, system and integrated testing tasks and activities for Epic workflows. • Provide support of application incidents reported through the help desk, including 24/7 on call coverage as required. • Obtain and maintain in-depth knowledge of software functionality; acquire and utilize knowledge of operational workflows to be implemented. • Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software. • Work with trainers to develop and maintain application specific training curriculum and materials • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and manages changes to specifications prioritize, coordinate, and implement updates and requested changes to the system; review and test each new release; troubleshoot problems and questions from end users. • Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control. • Develop strong relationships with end user communities, customers and business partners. • Facilitate communication with stakeholders from initial requirements to final implementation. • Troubleshoot and/or resolve application issues and escalate more complex issues as appropriate.
