Role Description We are seeking an adaptable and proactive HR Generalist to join our Human Resources department. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, handling a broad range of HR responsibilities, and supporting a positive employee experience. The right candidate will be self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities - Onboarding and Offboarding - Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and required documentation. - Facilitate exit interviews and manage the offboarding process. - Compliance and HR Operations - Ensure HR policies and procedures are aligned with applicable federal, state, and local labor laws (FMLA, ADA, EEO). - Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HRIS data. - Support routine HR audits and help improve internal HR processes. - Performance Management - Assist managers with performance reviews, goal setting, and employee relations matters. - Support disciplinary actions and documentation as needed. - HRIS Administration - Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date employee data in the HRIS system. - Support HR reporting and data updates as required. - Culture and Engagement - Help coordinate employee engagement initiatives, wellness activities, and company events. - Contribute to a positive and supportive workplace culture. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 3–5+ years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist or similar role. - Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices. - Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, BambooHR, or Workday. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities. - High level of discretion and confidentiality. Preferred Qualifications - SHRM-CP or PHR certification. - Experience working in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
