This is a high-priority, enterprise-level initiative backed by leadership and aligned to long-term value creation. We are seeking a Technical Recruiter / Talent Partner to play a critical role in building this capability from the ground up. This individual will operate as both a strategic advisor and hands-on builder, responsible for attracting and hiring top-tier talent across AI, data, and engineering. This is not a traditional recruiting role—you will help shape the talent strategy, operating model, and team architecture for a rapidly scaling, PE-backed platform. Key Responsibilities - Partner with executive leadership to define and execute the hiring strategy for AI, data, and engineering functions - Own end-to-end recruiting for high-impact, hard-to-fill technical roles across the AI task force, including: - AI/ML Engineers, AI Developers, and AI Specialists - Data Engineers and Data Platform roles - Full Stack Developers and Infrastructure/DevOps Engineers - Solutions Architects and Technical Business roles - Translate evolving business needs into clear hiring plans, role definitions, and candidate profiles - Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies targeting passive, high-caliber technical talent - Act as a market expert, advising leadership on talent availability, competitive landscape, and compensation trends - Help design and implement scalable recruiting processes to support multi-role, multi-phase team buildouts - Drive a structured, high-quality interview and selection process aligned to long-term success - Ensure an exceptional candidate experience that reflects a high-performance, mission-driven culture - Partner cross-functionally (HR, Regional and Operating Company leadership) to align hiring with growth and value creation goal Skills, Knowledge and Expertise - 8+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with deep expertise in engineering, data, and/or AI hiring - Proven success hiring for highly specialized, competitive roles (AI/ML, data engineering, cloud, or platform roles) - Experience operating in high-growth, PE-backed, or build environments (consulting, tech, or tech-enabled services preferred) - Ability to function as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, with confidence to challenge and influence - Strong sourcing capability and track record engaging passive, hard-to-reach talent pools - Experience building teams from zero to scale or supporting large, multi-role hiring initiatives - Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping define roles that may not yet be fully formed - Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills Preferred Background - Direct experience recruiting for AI/ML, data platforms, or cloud infrastructure roles - Exposure to enterprise AI or digital transformation initiatives - Background supporting cross-functional team builds (engineering + business + delivery roles) aligned to programs like Trilon’s AI task force Why This Role - Build from zero: Shape and scale a critical AI capability from the ground up - High impact: Direct influence on one of the company’s most important strategic initiatives - Executive exposure: Partner closely with senior leadership and decision-makers - Strategic + executional: Operate as a true talent partner, not just a recruiter - Long-term upside: Play a key role in value creation within a PE-backed platform #LI-JT1 About Trilon Group Trilon group was formed with a vision to build the next Top 20 design firm in North America with a reputation for delivering smart and sustainable infrastructure solutions.
