Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PL/SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming, with a strong focus on database development and cloud migration. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL solutions while contributing to the migration of Oracle databases to cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, or Azure SQL Database. - Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL code for Oracle databases. - Implement database triggers, stored procedures, functions, packages, and views. - Perform performance tuning and query optimization to improve database efficiency. - Assist in the migration of Oracle databases to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. - Develop and maintain ETL processes to support data integration and reporting. - Collaborate with cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and business analysts to define migration strategies and best practices. - Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with company and industry standards. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in both on-premises and cloud environments. - Develop and maintain documentation for database processes, cloud migration strategies, and coding standards. Qualifications - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 6+ years of experience as a PL/SQL Developer working with Oracle databases. - Strong proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages. - Experience with performance tuning, query optimization, and database indexing. - Familiarity with data modeling, normalization, and database design principles. - Hands-on experience with database migration to cloud environments (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS, Azure SQL Database). - Knowledge of Oracle tools such as SQL*Loader, Data Pump, and Oracle SQL Developer. - Understanding of database security, roles, privileges, and access control. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - 3+ years experience in the following technologies: .NET; Oracle Forms/Reports, Crystal Reports, or similar reporting tools; JavaScript, HTML, CSS; Web Services; MS Visual Studio, Toad, APEX; XML, JSON. Requirements - Experience with Oracle 12c/19c and advanced features. - Exposure to cloud-based databases and migration tools. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. - Experience with scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Perl for automation. - Knowledge of Oracle APEX for front-end application development.
