Senior Manager - External Audit Methodology

Role Description You will lead the effort to develop detailed content to support the Dynamic Audit Solution (DAS) methodology, including the comprehensive risk approach. You will report to the Senior Director as an individual contributor. You will be 100% remote within the US. - Lead the development of the content and process for the risks and controls approach in the DAS methodology. - Lead the development of the PCAOB and ISA methodology content and processes in the DAS, ensuring consistency with the core commercial strategy and content, and overseeing work of contract developers. - Lead the implementation of strategies for the development and ongoing maintenance of important methodology content and processes in the Dynamic Audit Solution. - Lead the development of the DAS risks and response libraries, including: - Libraries of financial statement level risks - Entity level risks - Specific risk conditions by financial reporting cycle - Procedures to address risks - Manage the development of the control content. - Support the Sr Director of Audit Methodology and Guidance on technical matters and strategy related to industry standards, including GAAS, PCAOB, ISA, SSARS, and QC/Ethics standards. - Support the Senior Director on technical projects related to the development of the DAS and other engagement solutions, serving as a process lead and managing other process leaders. - Communicate directly with participating firms and development team representatives to ensure alignment with goals and priorities. - Lead the identification of differences between core commercial content and other standards setters content, including differences between GAAS, PCAOB, and ISAs. - Be a member of the content management team to ensure efficient use of content and knowledge in the DAS. - Communicate with multiple standard setting bodies on technical matters. - Lead the development of specific Methodology overview documents to be included with the DAS and help develop DAS methodology and guidance throughout the tool. Qualifications - 10+ years of public accounting financial statement audit, audit methodology development, or relevant experience. - Extensive knowledge of PCAOB standards. - Recent experience in an external audit function, with Big 4 experience strongly preferred. - Bachelor's degree. - CPA. How you’ll serve our patients As a Clinical Manager at ERC Pathlight, you can expect to be a part of team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation, or virtually through our tele-behavioral health platform. You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways: - Provides leadership for counseling services, including defining and refining the counseling service model and strategy, supervising and managing staff, identifying and coordinating with community resources as appropriate, and tracking and monitoring service implementation to ensure high-quality, relevant, patient-centered service delivery aligned with mission and goals. - Provides leadership of clinical team to maximize coordination and collaboration among staff, troubleshoot challenges, and identify and implement new services strategies, community partnerships or resource needs as appropriate. - Identifies and implements strategy for assigning patients to counselors, monitor quality and levels of service provided and guide staff on adjustments as needed; oversees counselors’ case file management and monthly tracking reports and submits summary reports to management as requested. - Provides counseling and facilitates group activities as dictated by patient need and program expectations; completes case files and tracking reports for caseload. - Recruits, trains and assists staff in setting individual goals and objectives. Promotes a positive and supportive work environment and provides continuing support in helping personnel to accomplish their goals, as well as in work methods, processes, policies and procedures. Conducts performance appraisals and counsels employees on performance issues. - Participates with Executive Management to ensure quality of services, develop and maintain clinical budget and contribute toward strategic planning initiatives. - Develops and implements training protocols. - Ensure clinical department’s compliance with HIPAA and the Joint Commission. Must Haves - Master’s degree in clinical counseling or social work - State independent clinical license: LMFT, LCSW, LCPC, PsyD or similar license - Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care experience - Individual and Family Therapy experience Bonus Qualities - Experience working in an eating disorder treatment setting - 2+ years of prior supervisorial responsibilities preferred The compensation range for this position is based upon candidate experience and market expectations.
