Role Description As our Sr. Technical Solution Architect, AWS, you will challenge customers to build agile infrastructure solutions through the adoption of AWS Cloud technologies as part of their overall business transformation and success goals. The role will require excellent customer service experience and an ability to understand a client’s business challenges around cloud use, consumption, and managed services. - The architecture and design of holistic AWS cloud solutions with focus on cloud migration and data center modernization backed by data-driven insights. - Collaborate with AWS Account Executives and AWS Presales Specialists to support our customers on their journeys to AWS. - Create strategic cloud roadmaps or initiatives that really move the needle with our customers. - Take a leadership role in bridging the gap between business outcomes and IT initiatives. - Create alignment between the customers of IT and AWS cloud solutions. - Have a mutual cloud vision that our customers want to embrace and execute upon. - Document the agreed-upon solution through well written, thoughtful and detailed statements of work (SOW) for Softchoice services. - Collaborate with the service delivery teams to ensure the services are delivered as specified in your statements of work and as required to meet customer business outcome objectives. - Provide feedback from clients to solution development team members who manage and innovate AWS cloud services offerings. - Participate in Innovation activities where the role’s involvement brings experience and direct customer awareness of solution needs and customer experience considerations. Qualifications - 7+ years of relevant industry experience with implementing and/or selling cloud solutions; at least 3 years in a presales capacity. - AWS certification(s); Solutions Architect Professional is a requirement. - Passion for working with technical resources and business leaders to establish trust and credibility within an organization. - Understanding of DevOps, application modernization and AI concepts and how to apply these concepts to a customer’s cloud journey. - Ability to make people feel heard and important, work well in a team environment and lead teams of peers to accomplish complex objectives. - Responsive, effective communicator with a knack for aligning the goals and objectives of multiple stakeholders in the organization. - Strong public speaking and presentation skills, leveraging multiple mediums like video calls, whiteboarding, and PowerPoint. - Passionate and creative problem solver. - A learner and quick study, always curious about new technologies and how they impact our customers’ business. - Embrace the challenge of being a change agent and thrive in a fast-paced environment. - Bilingual in French is an asset. Requirements - A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position in Ontario is $116,030 to $154,700 annually + 30% Target Incentives. - Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, education, and related certification. - The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
