Site Planner Remote Headquarters Full time Houston, Texas, United States The Site Planner 1 is primarily responsible for completion of lot fit requests, redraws, and supporting the New Home Starts department as needed. What You’ll Do - Complete lot fit requests. - Complete site plan redraws as assigned. - Set up preliminary site plans from surveys or plats on AutoCAD. - Maintain an understanding of current Perry Homes design standards, code and community guidelines, as they apply to lot fits and redraws. - From time to time must complete projects on very short notice with extreme time constraints. What We’re Looking For - High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Computer Drafting or Design preferred. - Requires at least 1 year of experience in basic drafting methods, and an understanding of symbols and techniques of drawing via AutoCAD. - Basic knowledge of Architectural Language pertaining to residential construction. - Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word. - Ability to read blueprints, surveys, Metes & Bounds descriptions. - Experience in civil drafting preferred. This position is also responsible for verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data. The intern will ensure all logistics, communication, safety considerations, and day-of event operations run smoothly to deliver a meaningful and well-organized volunteer experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Create and manage a timeline for all actions and logistics prior to the bvolunteer date - Communicating with the selected nonprofit organization, PH departments (if needed), participating employee volunteers and the director to provide clear instructions, event details, FAQs, schedules, and any required pre-event training or documentation needed - Determine all equipment, tools, materials, and personal protective equipment needed for volunteers on the day of the event - Conduct post-event follow up including improvement for future events and assist with recaps and photos Job Competencies - Attention to Detail - Communication/Building Relationships - Time Management - Flexibility
