Quality Engineer Trainee

Role Description The Quality Engineer Trainee position is a fixed term role that (Software Engineering Track - SET) supports software development and quality engineering activities under the guidance of senior team members. This role focuses on building foundational technical knowledge, participating in development and testing tasks, and contributing to team collaboration and client deliverables. - Work with NCRA PS systems and tools under the guidance of senior team members - Learn and apply professional services implementation methodologies and/or development practices in daily work - Collaborate effectively with both direct and cross-functional teams - Support client-facing activities by assisting with deliverables and communicating status updates - Participate in team meetings, including status updates, issue discussions, and design walkthroughs - Demonstrate eagerness to learn and proactively identify tasks with guidance from leads and mentors - Contribute to team discussions and share ideas during problem-solving sessions - Assist in the development, testing, and debugging of applications under supervision - Continuously expand technical knowledge and improve development skills - Gain exposure to products, technologies, and development methodologies - Participate in training sessions, self-learning, and knowledge-sharing forums - Apply a structured approach to problem-solving using standard practices and guidance Qualifications - Working towards Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, IT, ECE, EICE, etc.) - Strong analytical and logical thinking skills - Basic understanding of software development concepts and programming fundamentals - Good verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment - Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment - Basic time management and organizational skills - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality - Positive attitude and strong work ethic Requirements - Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.
