Manager, Employee Experience Technology

Guidewire Software

• Provide functional and technical leadership in the development, optimization, and support of people systems • Serve as the primary owner of Workday and all downstream integrations • Lead cross-functional Workday projects • Implement secure and scalable solutions aligned with systems best practices • Drive Workday tenant management • Lead the design and delivery of AI-enabled employee experience solutions • Collaborate with internal partners to optimize employee lifecycle processes • Train, guide, and actively share knowledge across team members

Job Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on Workday technical experience
  • 3+ years of team management
  • 5+ years of experience with modern software development technologies (e.g., Python or similar languages)
  • Proven expertise with Workday HCM, Talent, Learning, and Recruiting modules
  • Deep knowledge of Workday’s integration frameworks including Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and APIs
  • Strong problem-solving, architecture, and system design skills in a cloud-first, scalable environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Workday certifications in one or more relevant modules preferred

Role Description The Senior Consultant – HR Advisory is a client-facing, consulting-led role focused on advising organizations on talent acquisition strategy, service design, operating model optimization, and supporting technology enablement. The role is advisory and outcomes-focused, emphasizing problem definition, solution design, and executive decision support rather than hands-on technical configuration. You will work directly with senior HR and Talent leaders to assess current-state processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and design scalable future-state models that balance people, process, and technology.
