Job Description
Product Manager – API, AI Framework
ENSEK
• Own the strategy, vision and roadmap for both the API-as-a-product programme and the agentic AI framework — engaging stakeholders across engineering, commercial, and customer teams to define, validate and iterate it continuously. • Define and drive a consistent framework for API definition and management across three tiers: internal domain APIs, cross-NSEC internal APIs, and external APIs for customers, brokers, and third parties. • Lead product thinking for the agentic AI infrastructure, including agent orchestration, LLM ops, cost monitoring, and metrics — ensuring the case management team and other consumers have the foundational AI capabilities they need. • Collaborate with engineering leadership to prioritise and unblock the delivery of AI framework components (intent classification, summarisation, billing checks) needed to reach MVP for beta testing. • Make evidence-based prioritisation decisions, estimating effort and value of roadmap items using AI-powered estimation tools, and communicating trade-offs transparently with stakeholders. • Define and track key product outcomes — implementing dashboards for real-time performance visibility and using data to drive continuous improvement. • Build long-term stakeholder relationships, implementing communications strategies and influencing effectively to drive alignment and outcomes.
Job Requirements
- Demonstrable experience owning and delivering a platform or infrastructure product end-to-end, ideally including API management or developer tooling.
- Understanding of agentic AI concepts (LLM orchestration, agent frameworks, LLM ops) sufficient to make credible product decisions and work effectively with data science and engineering teams.
- Ability to make autonomous, data-informed product decisions and communicate them clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships, including senior commercial partners.
- Ability to create and maintain a product roadmap tied to strategy and outcomes.
- Experience working in energy, utility tech, SaaS, or platform-based product environments is advantageous.
- Familiarity with API management tooling, experimentation platforms, and AI productivity tools is advantageous.
