This position reports to the Aviation Design Lead and is responsible for creating CAD layouts and drawings for civil airport infrastructure projects. Role Description As our Market Manager, Planning Design and Construction (PDC), you will provide leadership and oversight of design and construction related activities for significant and/or multiple projects with substantial aggregate value. You will interface with Division Strategy and senior hospital leadership for capital project coordination and communication. - Manage project objectives and ensure financial control, including project budgets, cash flow forecasting, and risk management. - Report directly to the Market Director and supervise multiple project managers. - Strategically lead and oversee complex planning, design, and construction projects. - Demonstrate exceptional leadership in coordinating with Division Strategy and senior hospital leadership. - Control project finances and effectively supervise project management teams to mitigate risks and achieve strategic objectives. - Responsible for scheduling and managing the project delivery process for all assigned projects. - Lead the project team in establishing scope, schedule, and budget, maintaining objectives throughout each phase of the project. - Provide internal and external project communications to ensure all team members are advised of project status. - Coordinate between construction team, consultants, and facility operations. - Monitor construction activities to ensure conformance with approved documents and specifications, regulations, codes, standards, and laws applicable to the project. - Maintain relationships with approving authorities at the federal, state, and local level. - Participate in negotiating fees and business decisions for project vendors in accordance with CommonSpirit Health policies.
