Role Description Everforth ECS is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work remotely. This position involves: - Design integration experience with shipboard mechanical systems. - Providing technical evaluation of vendors' proposed system designs. - Assessing design maturity and expected performance of systems to meet operational requirements. - Writing technical papers on the technical risk of systems meeting USCG/ABS design standards. - Demonstrating personal experience designing or using onboard piping systems (hydraulics, ships auxiliaries, HVAC, fuel distribution, water production, etc.). - Cost estimation of proposed ship construction changes. - Site visits to perform root cause analysis of shipboard failures. Salary range is based on years of experience: $55,000-$125,000.
