Role Description As a Remote Consultant with the Professional Services Team (USA), you will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of LexisNexis® Firco™ Continuity solutions for enterprise clients operating in highly regulated industries. You will support customers throughout the entire deployment lifecycle—from solution design and architecture through deployment, advanced troubleshooting, and security and compliance integration. This role combines hands-on technical implementation with client-facing consulting responsibilities. The ideal candidate has strong technical foundations in cloud-native systems and integration technologies, paired with an interest in financial crime compliance and secure enterprise environments. Responsibilities - Deploy, configure, and optimize Firco™ Continuity cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and integrations with RDBMS platforms, IBM MQ, and web servers. - Configure and manage Oracle and SQL Server databases, including schema upgrades, plugin tables, secure authentication (Kerberos), and advanced features such as connection pooling and isolation. - Implement and troubleshoot secure messaging and event-driven architectures using IBM MQ, Kafka, and DAPR, including distributed transactions and state management. - Design and implement security controls using SSL/TLS, mTLS, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, and certificate-based authentication; manage roles and access via APIs and identity providers. - Monitor system health through logs, alerts, and health checks; troubleshoot JVM, DAPR, containerized environments, and cloud-native components. - Provide technical guidance, training, and documentation to clients while ensuring alignment with evolving compliance, security, and industry standards. Qualifications - Excellent experience working in Unix (Linux Red Hat, AIX, Solaris) and Windows Server environments, with hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, multi-node clusters, and persistent storage. - Proficiency with relational databases and SQL, including Oracle, DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server; experienced in schema design, migration, plugin table management, and secure authentication methods such as Kerberos and encrypted credentials. - Experience with messaging and integration technologies including IBM MQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Google Pub/Sub, and DAPR sidecar integration. - Familiarity with application servers and web platforms such as WebSphere, WebLogic, and Apache Tomcat, including SSL/TLS and mTLS configuration. - Working knowledge of cloud-native architectures, Helm, CI/CD processes, cloud CLI tools (Azure CLI, AWS CLI, GCP CLI), and secrets management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, RBAC). - Proven troubleshooting skills across operating systems, networking, applications, databases, and containerized environments, with experience supporting DAPR, JVM-based systems, and log management tools. - Exposure to or understanding of compliance standards and financial crime frameworks such as SWIFT, SEPA, ISO20022, AML, KYC, and CFT is preferred.
