We are seeking an experienced Project Manager, Legal & Tax to join the Legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel. In this role, you will lead cross-functional initiatives related to tax planning, compliance, corporate structuring, and regulatory matters. In addition, you will oversee outside tax counsel and other related advisors, ensuring work is scoped appropriately, delivered on time, and aligned with the firm’s objectives. You will partner with teams across the company to coordinate complex tax and legal projects, including entity structuring, domestic and international tax compliance, and other strategic initiatives. You will work closely with both internal stakeholders and external advisors to drive execution, improve processes, and help scale our legal and tax infrastructure. Role Description The Project Delivery Manager serves as the primary delivery owner for Prime Robotics automation projects. You will bridge the gap between Sales and Delivery, manage cross-functional internal and customer-facing workstreams, and ensure the successful commissioning of robotic systems, robotic arms, and integrated software (WMS/ERP/PES) within scope, on time, and on budget. You will be equally comfortable on a warehouse floor validating site readiness as you are in a boardroom presenting milestone updates to C-suite stakeholders. Key Responsibilities - Pre-Sales Engagement - Partner with the Prime Sales team to understand customer warehouse layouts, throughput requirements, integration complexity (WMS, ERP, MES), and geographic deployment constraints. - Define implementation strategies for AMR, AS/RS, and software deployments—factoring in site infrastructure, racking configurations, and network readiness. - Develop high-level project timelines and resource estimates to support proposals and SOW development. - Collaborate with Solutions Engineering and Finance to validate effort estimates, hardware lead times, and service delivery costs. - Project Planning & Transition - Lead the Sales-to-Delivery handover process, ensuring all contractual commitments, scope boundaries, and customer expectations are clearly documented and understood. - Analyze contracts to define scope, key deliverables, acceptance criteria, and major milestones aligned to Prime's delivery methodology. - Establish the project charter, RACI, communication protocols, and cadenced governance structure (weekly status calls, steering committees, etc.). - Conduct gap analysis with customer and Prime cross-functional teams (Hardware Engineering, Software, Supply Chain, Field Services) to surface risks early. - Define measurable success criteria, go-live KPIs, throughput targets, system uptime SLAs, and establish baselines for performance tracking. - Ensure adherence to Prime's standard project processes, SOPs, and governance frameworks throughout all phases. - Project Delivery & Hardware Coordination - Monitor progress against timelines, budget, and milestone commitments; proactively surface risks and drive resolution before they impact go-live. - Maintain clear, consistent communication across all stakeholders—customer leadership, Prime HQ (Denver), field teams, and third-party integrators. - Own the customer readiness checklist: floor markings, charging station placement, Wi-Fi infrastructure, dock door configurations, and safety zone layouts. - Coordinate with Prime's Supply Chain team on AMR, shuttle, and robotic arm lead times to ensure hardware arrives per installation sequencing plans. - Track software development milestones for PES (Prime Execution System), WMS integration, and custom API development; flag delays and drive resolution. - Log, manage, and escalate all issues and bugs through JIRA with structured triage and prioritization processes. - Project Execution & Go-Live - Manage cross-functional resource allocation; Prime field engineers, software deployment specialists, and customer operations leads, and coordinate travel and scheduling logistics. - Validate final site readiness before robot deployment, ensuring all infrastructure, safety, and software prerequisites are met. - Oversee robot commissioning, software deployment, and end-to-end system testing across AMR fleets, AS/RS, pick stations, and PES integrations. - Lead integration testing across customer WMS/ERP environments, Prime HQ software teams, and regional field operations. - Stand up and facilitate war rooms during critical go-live windows to accelerate issue resolution. - Support UAT planning and execution; monitor ramp-up KPIs (picks per hour, system uptime, error rates) against contracted targets. - Drive project closure: final ticket resolution, handover documentation, customer signoffs, and transition to Prime's Client Services team. - Maintain all project documentation on Confluence; charters, risk registers, test reports, handover packages, and lessons learned. This role is responsible for driving projects from preconstruction through closeout while overseeing field execution, subcontractor coordination, schedules, financial tracking, and client communication. The position operates within a high-volume commercial electrical environment supporting major long-term projects across Michigan.
