• Manage the overall coordination, status reporting, financials, schedules and stability of project-oriented work efforts • Maintain status reports and project metrics and appropriately triage and categorize all incoming work • Interact significantly with project team members, vendors, finance personnel, and multiple functional or support departments • Share information with coworkers and encourage participation in Mercy Research activities • Provide information regarding operational, change management, and trial management strategies and opportunities • Develop, maintain and facilitate the usage of various datasets, databases and medical records systems necessary to facilitate study start-up, conduct and support • Support clinical research activities by serving as the primary resource for data acquisition, extraction, and management using standard clinical data platforms • Act as the key liaison between Mercy Technology Services, the Research - Enterprise Data and Analytics Office Value Delivery Team, and Mercy Research • Promote research data literacy by assisting with education and training initiatives • Lead communication between teams to ensure seamless collaboration and understanding across departments • Track and analyze data trends to identify opportunities for programmatic improvement • Represent Mercy Research in meetings with legal, financial, vendor, and technology teams • Facilitate exploratory meetings with investigators and VDT members to clarify study needs • Utilize Microsoft Office, project management platforms, clinical data tools, and network-approved AI solutions to enhance daily workflows

• Prepare and analyze financial results for Mercy. • Monitor organizational performance and manage the forecasting process. • Manage the day-to-day processes within the Finance department to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of all reports. • Provide analysis and support to administration and develop analytical tools and reports for departments. • Recommend process improvement strategies and work simplification to ensure coordination.

• Greet patients and verify patient identity in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner • Manage incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries effectively • Perform patient check-in, check-out, and appointment scheduling activities • Create and maintain patient records within Epic and other electronic health record systems • Process mail, scanning, RightFax documentation, copying, and other administrative tasks • Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure chart accuracy • Balance and reconcile cash drawers daily according to established procedures • Demonstrate working knowledge of office and clinic equipment, including computers, scanners, fax machines, copiers, calculators, and credit card processing equipment • Review department communications promptly and actively participate in team meetings and process improvement initiatives • Support the implementation of new Epic enhancements and workflow changes • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while following Infection Control Guidelines • Adhere to Mercy safety policies and report incidents according to established procedures • Protect patient confidentiality and comply with all privacy and security requirements • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

• Facilitate all components of the patient's entrance into any Mercy facility. • Schedule, register, verify benefits, perform pre-certification, and financial clearance including pre-visit collection. • Ensure that the most accurate patient data is obtained and populated into the patient record.

• Play a pivotal role in shaping first impressions and delivering a brand-defining experience for patients. • Facilitate patient admissions and transfers seamlessly. • Ensure optimal bed placement and engagement with patients and providers. • Act as a medical consultant, mediator, and resource.

• Responsible for reviewing and analyzing documentation present in the medical record for inpatient, outpatient and/or professional services to assign diagnoses/procedure codes as described by the physician(s) of record. • Abides by the Standards of Ethical Coding as set forth by the American Health Information Management Association and adheres to official coding guidelines.

• Assist the Director of CPE and Manager of CPE in the operation of the Clinical Pastoral Education Program • Provide education and supervision of CPE students • Reflect Mercy’s mission, values, and charisms • Strengthen a modern spiritual care approach that honors tradition while expanding the reach of CPE and spiritual care through emerging innovations

• Responsible for scheduling patient appointments and taking patient messages • Giving general information regarding their visit instructions and expectations • Maintain calm, pleasant professional attitude • Delivers excellent customer service using exceptional telephone etiquette

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of licensed persons • Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients • Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments • Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information
