Technical Recruiter

• Own the full-cycle recruitment process for Engineering & Product roles, with the possibility of supporting roles in other departments (such as Sales, Customer Solutions, or G&A). • Act as a talent advisor to business leaders and hiring managers to develop, prioritize, and deliver on comprehensive workforce plans and hiring strategies. • Strategically source, engage, nurture and qualify a diverse pool of candidates from various channels to meet strategic hiring goals. • Use and interpret data to solve challenges and identify solutions, along with the ability to identify alternative solutions when circumstances change. • Leverage AI to automate repetitive work, sharpen the quality of your output, and raise the bar for how the team operates to increase hiring efficiency. • Deliver a best in-class interview and offer experience by communicating timely updates, setting expectations, providing feedback, and operating with a customer-centric mindset. • Tell the Sanity story to candidates while also acting as a brand ambassador on relevant social media channels. • Maintain operational excellence, bring recruiting best practices to the team, help the Recruiting team continuously improve, and help uplevel the hiring process at Sanity. • Keep aware of recruiting and talent trends within the industry and leverage these trends to shape the recruiting team’s work. • Manage recruiting efforts autonomously, while following established recruiting processes and operating with a team-first mentality
Job Requirements
- At least 8 years of recruiting experience; at least 5 yrs in a scaling start-up environment
- Have a highly collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach
- Sense of ownership and urgency around your work and the outcomes of our hiring processes
- Experience working on a globally distributed team
- Experience hiring across various departments (including Product, Engineering, and Leadership) in a scaling startup environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple requisitions and adapt to changing priorities
- Experience in recruiting operations, i.e building recruiting processes, playbooks, etc
- Experience with Ashby (preferred) or similar recruiting platforms

• Own full-cycle recruiting across various pipelines in Engineering, Product, and Design • Work directly with Step's CTO, Founders, and the leadership team on recruiting strategy to attract and hire top talent • Drive a variety of sourcing tools to engage passive talent, in addition to owning inbound application buckets • Manage processes to ensure we are optimizing our tools, data, and reporting • Create a white-glove candidate experience for all candidates who engage in the recruiting process
• Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, administering technical assessments, scheduling interviews, extending offers, and closing candidates. • Develop sourcing strategies and timelines for job openings, adjusting as necessary to meet hiring needs. • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business requirements and create effective recruitment strategies. • Evaluate candidates for overall fit and confirm qualifications through pre-screening interviews. • Support the business development team by building a pipeline of qualified candidates for critical roles. • Review a high volume of applications daily, maintain the applicant tracking system, and ensure compliance with EEO guidelines. • Contribute to team objectives and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
