Role Description Apex Companies, LLC is seeking an experienced Water Resources Professional to join our team. This position is ideal for a Hydrogeologist, Water Resources Engineer, or Scientist with strong expertise in integrated surface and groundwater modeling using MIKE SHE and MIKE 11. - Develop and manage integrated surface/groundwater models using MIKE SHE / MIKE 11. - Create modeling input files from scratch and perform model calibration and scenario analysis. - Edit and create grid files, program MIKE 11 structures, and post-process grid and MIKE 11 result files. - Communicate technical work and findings effectively with clients. - Manage project schedules to ensure timely and effective delivery of client and project requirements, as well as overseeing the financial performance and budget. - Supervise and mentor junior staff members. Qualifications - Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, hydrogeology, geology, environmental sciences, or earth science-related field. - Masters of Science degree desired. - 10+ years of experience with MIKE SHE / MIKE 11 modeling. - Solid understanding of ArcGIS, hydrology, hydraulics, and hydrogeology. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and client interaction abilities. - Leadership skills and willingness to guide junior team members. - Flexible on location in US with willingness to travel to Tampa or Fort Myers office. Prefer candidates in Florida. Requirements - Salary range dependent on location and years of experience.
