• Collaborate with GDC Consulting Operations to identify and assign project resources to client engagements. • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders that characterize partnership, cooperation and trust. • Participate in regular ideation and consultation meetings with GDC and onshore counterparts. • Manage own projects where required. • Oversee medium to large concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risk, escalations and issue resolution. • Manage and resolve escalations between the project, client or other internal organizations in a satisfactory manner. • Oversee resource planning, and coordination of project activities between client and internal/external resources needed to accomplish strategic business goals. • Mentor staff in Agile methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery. • Provide teams with clear understanding of responsibilities, accountabilities and growth plan by communicating and managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals. • Spearhead multiple Internal initiatives yielding impactful results to the growth of the organization and its employees. • Ensure that bench time for Consultants is used to improve skills in line with Practice technology roadmaps. • Monitor the alignment of program scope with strategic business objectives. • Solicit feedback Delivery Owners of engagements where GDC team members are aligned. • Conduct interviews of prospective GDC candidates.
Job Requirements
- 7+ years demonstrated client relationship skills and experience setting and managing client expectations.
- Strong verbal and writing skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively up to Executive Levels.
- Extensive experience aligning diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver projects in alignment with project commitments.
- Has a strong sense of working collaboratively with the GDC Leadership team.
- Deep, professional knowledge in internal stakeholder management, people management, and software project Delivery.
- Ability to lay out sound work plans and resolve competing trade-offs.
- Ability to manage up to 30 people and provide guidance on their career development.
- Ability to passionately develop and nurture the next in line leaders.
- Ability to remain composed during challenging and critical situations.
- Demonstrated experience in Agile best practices and delivery methodologies.
- Experience working with sales and solutioning stakeholders on staffing and timeline commitments and ensure there is alignment in expectations is a plus.
