Software Tester

• Reading and understanding testing methodology documents, including testing methodology presentations, User Acceptance Test Plans, and test script inventories. • Completing computer-based training for the new system. • Reviewing and critiquing draft test scripts. • Executing different types of test scripts, including: Conversion Verification Tests, Conversion Functional Tests, Functional Tests, Non-functional Tests, Retests and Regression Tests, Ad hoc Tests. • Capturing pass/fail test results in the test inventory. • Creating clear and accurate testing and defect documentation. • Assisting with requirements confirmation. • Attending daily project team meetings and reporting progress, risks, and issues. • Attending Sprint Reviews and system walkthroughs. • Attending defect remediation work sessions. • Working with subject matter experts and business analysts to ensure quality and accuracy of testing. • Completing testing assignments according to schedule. • Assisting Operational Readiness Testing users as requested. • Tracking hours worked and submitting weekly timesheets. • Performing other testing-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Must be currently local to Phoenix, AZ or nearby Arizona location.
