Job Description

Process Engineering Manager

ShipBob, Inc.

• Collaborate with Operations and Product leaders to design and roadmap changes to core operational functions. • Utilize data to drive decision-making within operational processes and improvements. • Develop and implement standardized operating procedures (SOPs), stakeholder communication, and operational rollouts. • Communicate procedure changes clearly to the Operations team. • Work with Operations leaders to develop and manage plans for new processes. • Organize and lead training sessions for team members. • Plan detailed schedules for process rollouts. • Collect and relay feedback from operators to the product team. • Manage transitions and certify employees through a Training Certification program. • Deliver comprehensive reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement. • Travel regularly to fulfillment and hub sites to observe processes and establish training sessions. • Comply to all food safety and compliance policies and regulations. • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in Fulfillment Operations, Process Improvement, and/or Program Management.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Engineering, Mathematics, or similarly technical field.
  • Experience with LEAN/Six Sigma in production environments.
  • Established track record of taking ownership and driving results, especially in highly ambiguous situations.
  • High degree of curiosity, problem solving, and initiative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with an audience of Senior company leaders.
  • A passion to grow as a leader and influence the ShipBob network and direction of ShipBob Operations.
