Staff Data Analyst
Fanatics, Inc.
• Build the initial data models and analytics infrastructure from the ground up for the newly launching DFS product. • Measure the incrementality and impact of new features through rigorous experimentation and statistical modeling. • Act as the primary data partner for the Principal Product Manager and the CPO of FMX, providing insights that directly shape product strategy. • Deliver high-quality SQL queries, data modeling in dbt, and automated reporting to meet the high demand for insights across the FMX ecosystem. • Partner with data scientists and engineers to find solutions to complex business problems and maintain the 'research lab to factory floor' connection.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in an analytics role, ideally within a high-growth fintech or sports betting environment.
- Strong SQL proficiency and hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling are essential.
- Expertise in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Databricks. Proficiency in Python is preferred.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts, multivariate testing, and experimentation frameworks.
- Ability to present complex technical insights to non-technical senior stakeholders with clarity and business context.
- A degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science.
