Senior Data Analyst
Blip
• Create, deliver, evolve and maintain information through data products based on business needs; designing, building and improving dashboards and custom advanced data-delivery scripts for monitoring business metrics; • Contribute to discussions on information storage and data pipelines to support advanced analytical reporting, data analysis and exploration, using various data and visualization technologies. • Work closely with analytics engineers and data product managers to identify process improvements and align those changes with team practices. • Collaborate with stakeholders, providing guidance, data and analytical support for the development of new analyses and tools in support of strategic initiatives. • Propose/Collaborate/Develop and facilitate initiatives with the data governance team to ensure data integrity across distributed systems. • Encourage and promote DataOps practices in the development of data products. • Propose/Collaborate/Lead experiments, innovations and the resolution of complex problems. • Propose/Collaborate/Promote an analytical, data-driven decision-making culture at Blip through workshops, training sessions and handovers of analytical products. • Propose/Collaborate/Promote and disseminate best practices in data governance and data quality. • Share knowledge and support the team's deliverables.
Job Requirements
- Advanced Spanish
- Strong experience writing SQL queries.
- Deep knowledge of database concepts and data modeling, strong SQL skills, and proficiency in query performance tuning.
- Expertise in exploratory data analysis.
- Proficiency in developing Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service solutions, focused on optimization and organization of resources for large-scale use.
- Knowledge of Python and Spark for large-scale data processing.
- Familiarity with Git.
- Expertise in data visualization and storytelling.
- Experience in statistical modeling.
- Experience with pair-testing practices applied to data.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and to build partnerships with technical and commercial team members.
- Ability to translate technical language into non-technical terms.
- Strong collaboration, curiosity, communication, leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience using a cloud data platform on Azure.
- Experience using Databricks.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning.
