Civica US
• Develop, configure and maintain pensions calculation functionality within Civica’s pensions administration platforms. • Translate business and regulatory requirements into reliable technical calculation logic. • Design and maintain SQL queries to support pensions data processing and calculations. • Perform testing and validation of calculation changes to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Support implementations, system upgrades and product enhancements in collaboration with product, project and engineering teams. • Troubleshoot and resolve calculation or data issues, providing ongoing technical support. • Maintain clear documentation and follow development, release and quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Strong technical experience working with pensions calculations within a pensions administration or software environment.
- Proven SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience working with one of the following technologies, or similar: Python / Java / TypeScript / C# / C++.
- Strong Excel skills for modelling, testing and validating calculations.
- Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional technical and product teams.
- Knowledge of public sector pension schemes (e.g. LGPS or similar).
- Experience working with pensions administration systems or calculation engines.
- Experience delivering client implementations, system migrations or data-driven projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Experience working in agile or product-focused development environments.

They are responsible for developing and managing ontologies that underpin our information systems, facilitating better data organization and knowledge discovery.
