Corporate Counsel I
Premier Inc.
• Draft, negotiate and review contracts and amendments prior to execution by management • Provide counsel to business unit leadership with respect to contractual and regulatory issues • Research legal issues and keep current with case law and court opinions • Assist Associate General Counsel, Assistant General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel and Senior Corporate Counsel with transactional matters, template updates, special projects and governmental/media relations matters as needed • Assist with risk management and litigation issues with outside counsel • Respond to inquiries from Premier customers and business partners
Job Requirements
- 5 or more years of applicable experience
- North Carolina bar member
- Extensive knowledge of commercial contract law and corporate law
- Juris Doctorate (Required)
- Bachelors Juris Doctor (JD) MBA Preferred
