• Own Joist revenue, retention, engagement, and profitability outcomes • Accept or reject business commitments within the portfolio planning cadence • Translate growth insights into credible, deliverable business commitments • Take accountability for performance variance and corrective action • Define and evolve the Joist business strategy • Set clear priorities and sequencing across initiatives • Make explicit trade-offs when capacity is constrained • Align investments with portfolio-level objectives • Align Product, Engineering, Marketing, Growth, and Support around business priorities • Negotiate capacity and timelines at peer level with functional leaders • Act as the final business decision-maker for Joist trade-offs • Partner with the Head of SaaS Growth to evaluate and adopt scalable growth initiatives • Collaborate with the Payments Business Owner to align monetization strategy • Represent Joist priorities within horizontal initiatives • Partner with the Director of Planning & Insights to set credible commitments • Participate in weekly commitment reviews and monthly business reviews • Surface risks early and make clear recommit / decommit decisions • Contribute to quarterly OKRs and semi-annual strategic planning
Job Requirements
- 10+ years in SaaS leadership roles with accountability for business-level outcomes
- Experience owning revenue, retention, or P&L results
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate cross-functional capacity without direct authority
- Experience operating within structured planning and performance cadences
- Strong commercial judgment and trade-off discipline
- Comfort making decisions under uncertainty
- Excellent executive communication skills
