Service Project Manager – Mining and Materials
ABB
• Oversee the delivery of service projects and ABB Customer Care Agreements within the North American region. • Maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring that customer requirements and all targets are met, providing excellent service at every stage of the customer orders. • Monitor customer service orders to ensure best practices in cost control, resource efficiency and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) • Analyze and address project risks, and regularly disseminate lessons learned. • Coordinate contract negotiations and claims with customers. • Prepare quotes and implement contract changes based on customer requests. • Achieve service order deliverables and compliance with contract requirements. • Coordinate project team effort including engineering, testing, site work activities and sub-contractors. • Review status, monitor, analyze and report on contract performance.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or similar Engineering highly preferred or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years’ experience managing industrial control systems and electrical apparatus projects; Experience in industrial and/or utilities markets is required.
- Demonstrated experience in management of project scope, cost, financial analysis, schedules and vendors/subcontractors.
- Collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Project Management PMP designation is desired.
- Fluent in English.
- French communication skills as an asset.
- Strong computer skills – SAP or other ERP and MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
