Solutions Architect
Kitco Metals Inc.
• Design and architect end-to-end solutions that meet business requirements • Provide high-level designs and blueprints for software, infrastructure, and integration solutions • Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and other teams to gather requirements • Lead technical discussions, workshops, and reviews with development teams and stakeholders • Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, tools, frameworks, and platforms • Define integration strategies and ensure seamless integration of systems • Design and implement cloud-based solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) • Ensure that solutions are secure and compliant with relevant industry standards • Create and maintain detailed documentation for solution architecture • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience as a solutions architect, technical architect or similar roles
- Expertise in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions
- Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, C#, Python, etc.) and development frameworks (e.g., Spring, .NET, Angular)
- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, or cloud-based databases)
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware solutions (e.g., ESB, RESTful APIs, SOAP, message queues)
- Certification in solution architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) is a plus
