• Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services. • Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers. • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach. • Demonstrates products and services to existing/potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs. • Provides high-quality customer service to accounts that have questions regarding their invoices by means of phone calls, emails, and/or in-person meetings. • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services. • Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and presentations to existing and prospective customers. • Researches sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential. • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers. • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints. • Coordinates sales effort with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups. • Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organization. • Creates and manages a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities. • Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products/services. • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment. • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. • Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas. • Participates in trade shows and conventions.

Job Requirements

  • Must possess sales experience and cooperative contract development/management.
  • Possession of at least a high school diploma is required and a post-secondary degree is preferred.
  • Must successfully pass all required background screenings and obtain the requisite security clearance(s) to gain access to locations which require more stringent background scrutiny (example: military bases/installations).
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach).
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software.
  • Must have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally, so the ability to travel by plane, operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driver’s license are required. Overnight domestic and international travel required.

Inizio Engage is building a nationwide team of field based Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives. This is an excellent entry-level role in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. The team will be dedicated to providing services to Inizio’s client, Pfizer. The main objective of the Field Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives position is to increase awareness of high/at-risk patient type for COVID-19. This is a Field Contracted Team with the ability to create awareness on high/at-risk patients for COVID-19 with targeted HCPs along with urgent cares and retail pharmacies as directed. This role will report to the Area Business Manager. Your role will involve: - Provide P1 support to physicians about COVID-19 risk factors, disease progression, and treatment options - Educating identified targets to ensure customer preparedness on patient identification as above. - Build working relationships with customers through regular calls and ongoing contact with customers as defined in the Field Pharmaceutical Sales Contracted Team Statement of Work (SOW). - Ensure close collaboration with customer-facing colleagues to ensure goals are aligned and efforts are coordinated by channel and across field deployments. - Understand the customer and market landscape within assigned geographies and assess the business to prioritize opportunities and develop/implement a plan of action designed to maximize sales impact at the local level. - Operate in a team environment that is based on a culture of high collaboration and that encourages ideas. What will you be doing? - HCP engagement will involve probing, answering questions (e.g., drug to drug interaction management, where to find supply, who is high-risk and eligible for treatment) - Maintain an expert understanding of the Product, patient education, consumer education, and factors influencing the market environment.
