We are actively hiring a Salesforce Developer / Solutions Engineer to join the Flourish Research Digital Experience and Marketing Technology division. The Salesforce Developer / Solutions Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining Salesforce solutions that support Flourish Research’s operational needs and research initiatives. This role reports to the Executive Director of Digital Experience and Marketing Technology and partners closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement customized solutions, ensure system performance and security, and provide ongoing technical support and training to end users. RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions to meet the specific needs of Flourish Research. - Write, review, and execute detailed Salesforce assessments to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business objectives. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality Salesforce applications. - Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce applications, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and platforms. - Perform regular system audits and prepare for upgrades to keep the Salesforce environment secure and up to date. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations. - Provide technical support and training to end users to maximize effective use of Salesforce. - Stay current on Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve platform capabilities. - Represent Flourish Research in a professional and courteous manner in all verbal, written, and in-person interactions with staff, clients, and vendors. - Perform additional duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified Administrator) are a plus. - 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce. - Experience writing detailed technical assessments and documentation for Salesforce. - Proven experience in Salesforce development and customization, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components. - Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, and security. - Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficiency with Office 365 and related computer applications. - Ability to multi-task, prioritize competing demands, and remain flexible in a fast-paced environment. • Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of large-scale data platform projects on Snowflake, AWS, and Azure. • Guide technical teams through data migration, integration, and performance optimization. • Identify opportunities for automation and performance optimization to enhance client’s data platform capabilities. • Lead data migration to cloud platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), ensuring smooth integration of data lakes, data warehouses, and distributed systems. • Setting up a client's data platform with industry best practices & robust security standards including Data Governance. • Adapt to ongoing changes in platform environment, data, and technology by debugging, enhancing features, and re-engineering as needed. • Manage multiple customer engagements to ensure timely project delivery, optimize operations to prevent resource overruns, and maximize platform ROI. • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering strategic guidance on data platform optimization and addressing technical challenges to meet business goals. • Partner with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure seamless project delivery and high customer satisfaction. • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and excellence.

• Operate and manage modern data platforms - from streaming, to data lakes, to analytics, and beyond across a progressively evolving technical stack. • Demonstrate clear ownership of multiple simultaneous customer accounts across a variety of technical stacks and act as a technical leader. • Proactively identify and articulate best practices and improvements to customers on how to best leverage their Cloud Data Platform. • Skillfully navigate complex customer environments and build Epics, Stories, and Tasks in order to mature and improve our customer’s data platform. Delegate to and coach Engineers and ensure successful and timely delivery of these Epics. • Provide thought leadership by recommending the right technologies and approaches to maturing and solving problems to help ensure performance, security, scalability, and user satisfaction. • Continually hunt for ways to automate and optimize existing processes.
