Role Description As a Software Engineer I, you will participate in the complete software development lifecycle—from design and architecture to system integration, usability, and delivery. Duties and Responsibilities Essential Functions - Design, develop, test, and deliver new features and software applications. - Create and maintain technical documentation, including architectural designs and improvement proposals. - Analyze and tune application performance; proactively identify and address scalability and reliability risks. - Conduct code reviews and contribute to maintaining high-quality standards across the codebase. - Support release management to ensure smooth deployment and maintenance of production systems. - Investigate, debug, and resolve escalated production issues. - Write unit tests and contribute to automated testing strategies. - Design and implement logging, error-handling patterns, and performance monitoring dashboards. - Identify and optimize slow-performing SQL queries and system bottlenecks. - Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and status updates to keep stakeholders informed. - Ensure compliance with corporate policies and federal regulations related to security, privacy, accessibility, and ethical AI use.
