A typical day could involve preparing a briefing for our Customer Advisory Board, collaborating with Marketing on our presentation strategy for an upcoming analyst briefings, and then distilling insights from that meeting into an executive summary for our product leadership. You will be the "voice of the product" at major industry events, translating our technical roadmap into a compelling value proposition for customers and the broader market. This is a highly visible role that requires a unique blend of strategic thinking, customer-facing evangelism, and cross-functional leadership.  About the Team:    You will be a key member of the CPO’s direct team. This role is uniquely positioned to influence our product's direction and market perception by ensuring our vision is clearly articulated to customers, industry analysts, and internal stakeholders. You will work closely with the Inbound Product Management team, Marketing, and our SVPs to create a powerful feedback loop that drives our strategy forward.  Roadmap for Success: ​   Within 30 Days:   - Develop a comprehensive understanding of SailPoint's product portfolio, vision, and strategic priorities.   - Establish key relationships with leaders in the Product Management and Marketing organizations.   - Partner with existing Analyst Relations (AR) team, collaborating key upcoming milestones.   - Shadow and support your first Executive Briefing or customer meeting to understand the process and content.     Within 90 Days:   - Drive ownership of the product strategy for analyst briefings, partnering with Marketing to create compelling content and narratives for at least one major analyst engagement.   - Begin to synthesize analyst feedback and market trends into a monthly summary with actionable insights for the CPO and Inbound PM team.   - Co-lead the planning and execution of a CPO-level initiative, such as a Customer Advisory Board meeting, from agenda setting to follow-up actions.     Within 6 Months:   - Independently lead and execute at least two major CPO-level programs, demonstrating full ownership and delivering measurable results.   - Act as the primary "voice of the product" at a significant industry event or customer summit, confidently presenting our product roadmap and value proposition.   - Establish a refined, repeatable process for gathering, synthesizing, and distributing market and analyst feedback to influence the product roadmap.     Within 1 Year:   - Be recognized as the go-to expert and strategic partner for the CPO on all external-facing product communications and programs.   - Demonstrate a clear, positive impact on our analyst rankings and market perception through your strategic leadership of the AR product strategy.   - Proactively identify and propose new strategic initiatives to the CPO that will enhance our market leadership and customer engagement.     Requirements:   - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Computer Science) or equivalent professional experience.   - 5-7 years of experience in outbound product management, product marketing, corporate strategy, Chief of Staff or a similar customer-facing or analyst-relations role within the consulting or enterprise/security/AI software industry.   - Proven experience leading executive-level programs and initiatives with high visibility.   - Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling value propositions for diverse audiences.   - Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and influence across an organization, from technical teams to C-level executives.   - Experience in the identity security market is a significant plus.     This is a remote role located in the United States. Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.   As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
