Role Description We are seeking an experienced SAP Solution Architect with a strong functional background and proven expertise in SAP S/4HANA transformations. This is a customer-facing, onshore role requiring deep engagement across solution design, delivery, and pre-sales. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technology, drive end-to-end SAP solutions, and play a key role in shaping transformation programs for enterprise clients. Key Responsibilities - Solution Architecture & Delivery - Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA solution architecture across functional domains (e.g., Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash). - Translate business requirements into scalable, integrated SAP solutions. - Define target architecture, roadmap, and transformation strategy. - Ensure alignment with SAP best practices and industry standards. - Provide leadership across implementation, migration (ECC to S/4HANA), and rollout programs. - Functional Expertise - Act as a functional SME across one or more SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.). - Drive fit-gap analysis, process re-engineering, and solution design workshops. - Ensure business process optimization leveraging S/4HANA capabilities (Fiori, Embedded Analytics, etc.). - Pre-Sales & Business Development - Support pre-sales activities, including: - Solutioning and proposal development - Effort estimation and pricing models - Client presentations, demos, and RFP/RFI responses - Collaborate with sales teams to shape deals and win new business. - Provide thought leadership on digital transformation and SAP roadmaps. - Customer Engagement - Act as a trusted advisor to business and IT stakeholders. - Lead executive-level discussions and workshops. - Manage client expectations and ensure high customer satisfaction. - Provide guidance on best practices, innovation, and future-state architecture. - Governance & Leadership - Define and enforce architecture governance and standards. - Mentor and guide offshore/onshore teams. - Ensure quality delivery and adherence to timelines and budgets. Qualifications - 12+ years of SAP experience with strong functional background. - 5+ years as a Solution Architect or Lead Architect. - Hands-on experience in multiple SAP S/4HANA implementations (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid). - Deep expertise in at least one core functional domain (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.) with cross-module integration knowledge. - Proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, and client presentations. - Strong understanding of: - SAP S/4HANA architecture - SAP Fiori & UX strategy - Integration with SAP and non-SAP systems - Experience working in customer-facing, onshore roles in the US. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in industries such as CPG, Manufacturing, Retail, or Pharma. - Familiarity with RISE with SAP, SAP BTP, and cloud transformations. - SAP certifications in S/4HANA or relevant modules. - Experience with Agile / Activate methodology.
