Field Service Engineer

• Execute site-based service activities relating to UPS systems (Uninterruptible Power Supply) including maintenance and repair. • Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers. • Identify opportunities in the installed base to improve system performance and operational performance. • Perform field service tasks, identify technical issues, and perform analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products. • Prepare material lists needed for service activity and ensure all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities. • Troubleshoot equipment/process failures, request proactive corrective actions, and make recommendations to avoid issues in the future.

Job Requirements

  • Relevant Electronic qualification with experience of power electronics.
  • 2 years working as field engineer on UPS systems or similar technology.
  • Experience working on high powered UPS and with large data center customers.
  • Valid driving license in the UK.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Personal organization skills with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Experience in all Microsoft office applications.
