Job Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (MS preferred)

  • Experience with design, build and running scalable, high-performance systems on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with AI models using AWS SageMaker, Bedrock or Azure Machine Learning
  • Understanding of MLOps principles and practices
  • Expertise in CI/CD and automation tools
  • Strong background in AI/ML with experience in deep learning and neural networks

Role Description This course provides an in-depth exploration of the integrated relationship between human life and the surrounding environment, beginning with a study of the fundamental concepts and principles of ecology. Topics that are interwoven throughout the course include: - Principles of ecology, as seen in the structure and function of the ecosystem - Pollution of air, soil, and water resources - Population explosion and the relationship of people, disease, and food production - Environmental controls necessary for survival Adjunct Faculty will report to an Academic Dean. Responsibilities - Competency-Based Education (CBE) allows students to master content and skills within a course or program at their own pace. - Students are able to show what they know when they know it. - CBE courses are broken into multiple modules that are self-paced. - Each module has an assessment at the end of it that allows students to demonstrate their mastery of the material. - CBE Assessment Adjunct Faculty members focus on grading the work coming in from students. - Grading is facilitated through the use of detailed rubrics and feedback. - Very little direct communication is had with students, allowing for an unbiased grading process. Key Accountabilities - The essential function of the position includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks, duties, and responsibilities consistent with the function. - The employee is expected to perform all other duties as requested, directed, and/or assigned. - Adjunct faculty will be assigned up to 3 work units per academic quarter.
