Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to lead the migration of data solutions from AWS/Athena, BigQuery, and Tableau Server to a modern data ecosystem powered by Snowflake and Tableau Cloud. This role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on SQL expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data solutions. - Analyze existing queries, datasets, and dashboards in Athena, BigQuery, and Tableau Server to understand current data models and reporting logic. - Rewrite and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes to support migration into Snowflake. - Perform data validation and quality assurance to ensure consistency between legacy and new data environments. - Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports connected to Snowflake, ensuring high performance and data accuracy. - Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful data solutions. - Optimize performance of queries and dashboards across Snowflake and Tableau environments. - Create and maintain clear documentation for data sources, transformations, and reporting layers. - Communicate insights and technical changes effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. - 7+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or similar role. - Proven experience in data migration projects, especially transitioning from Athena and BigQuery to Snowflake. - Advanced proficiency in SQL and strong experience with ETL processes and data transformation. - Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization. - Advanced experience building dashboards in Tableau (Tableau Cloud preferred). - Experience validating and reconciling large datasets across systems. - Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. - Advanced English level (B2+/C1) with excellent communication skills. - Ability to work in cross-functional, fast-paced, and collaborative environments. Requirements - AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows. - Experience with Looker Studio or other BI tools. - Familiarity with data governance, data security, and compliance best practices. - Snowflake and/or Tableau certifications. - Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
