• Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using Azure Integration Services • Develop and maintain integrations using: Azure Logic Apps • Azure Service Bus (queues/topics) • Azure Event Grid • Azure Functions (serverless compute) • Azure Data Factory (data movement & orchestration) • Build event-driven and asynchronous architectures to replace legacy real time and batch integrations • Develop and manage API-based integrations using REST and messaging patterns • Integrate enterprise systems including ERP, CRM, and third-party platforms • Ensure scalability, reliability, security, and performance of integration solutions • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using Azure-native tools • Drive migration from Boomi to Azure Integration Services

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in integration development and middleware platforms
  • Strong hands-on experience with: Azure Logic Apps
  • Azure Service Bus
  • Azure Event Grid
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Data Factory
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging patterns
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, XML, and data transformation
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Solid understanding of security, identity, and access management in Azure
  • Nice to Have

Role Description The Senior Software Engineer is a career-level individual contributor responsible for the independent design, development, and delivery of complex software solutions within Crestron’s product ecosystem. Demonstrating strong technical depth and a working knowledge of adjacent disciplines, this role operates with minimal oversight and applies sound judgment to technical challenges. The Senior Software Engineer translates complex requirements into actionable designs, contributes to cross-functional problem-solving, and supports less experienced peers—fostering a culture of respect and consistent, high-quality execution. Responsibilities - Independently design, develop, and test complex software features and systems within the discipline, translating complex requirements into actionable designs. - Serve as a technical resource for less experienced peers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and day-to-day guidance. - Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, QA, product management, and cloud teams to define integration points and deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions. - Solve complex technical problems with ingenuity and independence, regularly troubleshooting system-level issues. - Decompose system-level features into well-scoped tasks, estimate delivery timelines, identify technical risks, and propose mitigation strategies. - Uphold and contribute to coding standards, development processes, and best practices; participate in architectural reviews. - Evaluate and contribute to the adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to improve software quality and development efficiency. - Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications, API references, and runbooks. - Communicate project status, technical issues, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. - 5 - 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated independent contributions to complex software design and delivery. - Experience leading software projects or teams in a product-focused environment. - Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams delivering commercial hardware/software products. - Proficiency in object-oriented and/or functional programming, .NET preferred. - System design and software architecture principles (microservices, APIs, distributed systems). - Agile/Scrum development methodologies and software delivery lifecycle best practices. - Cross-functional collaboration and technical communication with hardware, firmware, and QA teams. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices. - Mentoring and coaching engineers; ability to foster technical growth within a team.
