Role Description The Senior Software Engineer is a career-level individual contributor responsible for the independent design, development, and delivery of complex software solutions within Crestron’s product ecosystem. Demonstrating strong technical depth and a working knowledge of adjacent disciplines, this role operates with minimal oversight and applies sound judgment to technical challenges. The Senior Software Engineer translates complex requirements into actionable designs, contributes to cross-functional problem-solving, and supports less experienced peers—fostering a culture of respect and consistent, high-quality execution. Responsibilities - Independently design, develop, and test complex software features and systems within the discipline, translating complex requirements into actionable designs. - Serve as a technical resource for less experienced peers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and day-to-day guidance. - Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, QA, product management, and cloud teams to define integration points and deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions. - Solve complex technical problems with ingenuity and independence, regularly troubleshooting system-level issues. - Decompose system-level features into well-scoped tasks, estimate delivery timelines, identify technical risks, and propose mitigation strategies. - Uphold and contribute to coding standards, development processes, and best practices; participate in architectural reviews. - Evaluate and contribute to the adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to improve software quality and development efficiency. - Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation including design specifications, API references, and runbooks. - Communicate project status, technical issues, and tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. - 5 - 8 years of professional software engineering experience, with demonstrated independent contributions to complex software design and delivery. - Experience leading software projects or teams in a product-focused environment. - Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams delivering commercial hardware/software products. - Proficiency in object-oriented and/or functional programming, .NET preferred. - System design and software architecture principles (microservices, APIs, distributed systems). - Agile/Scrum development methodologies and software delivery lifecycle best practices. - Cross-functional collaboration and technical communication with hardware, firmware, and QA teams. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices. - Mentoring and coaching engineers; ability to foster technical growth within a team. • Design, develop, and maintain OmniStudio solutions, including OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and FlexCards, in support of Department of Defense (DoD) mission systems • Translate functional and mission requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions aligned with DoD architecture standards • Support modernization and migration of legacy systems to Salesforce Government Cloud/DoD-compliant environments as needed • Develop and maintain secure integrations with internal and external DoD systems using REST/SOAP APIs and approved middleware • Ensure all solutions comply with DoD cybersecurity and compliance frameworks, including NIST controls, FedRAMP and RMF requirements • Implement security best practices, including role-based access control (RBAC), encryption, and secure coding standards

• Develop solutions according to requirements and quality standards • Build D365 CE forms, screens, and views as well as workflows and reports • Customize business logic with client-side scripting and plug-ins • Develop integrations between D365 CE and other systems • Participate in all phases of SDLC including design, development, testing, documentation, and support • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, project managers • Lead POCs, design sessions, and pair programming efforts • Mentor junior team members

• Design, build, and maintain features for our internal Flutter mobile product across Android and iOS • Translate product specs and Figma designs into responsive, pixel-accurate UIs that feel polished • Integrate RESTful APIs and handle JSON data flows, including auth, error handling, and offline behavior • Implement state management using Provider, Bloc, Riverpod, or similar patterns • Apply Clean Architecture or MVVM principles to keep the codebase maintainable as the product evolves • Optimize app performance, memory usage, startup time, and rendering — this is a live product with real users, so performance matters • Integrate native device features such as camera, location, push notifications, biometrics, and local storage as the product roadmap requires • Work alongside the product team to ship, measure, and iterate based on user behavior and analytics • Debug and resolve issues reported by real users in production • Participate in code reviews, contribute to development best practices, and help shape the technical direction of the product
