Workday Integration Developer
Cielo Talent
• Deliver technical integration expertise through Cielo’s consulting engagements • Architect and build integration solutions to meet the functional and non-functional requirements for our clients • Design and build solutions for our global clients • Translate business requirements into technical integration designs, deciding the best integration approach (EIB, Core Connector, Studio) • Define data flow (inbound/outbound), frequency, and error handling strategy • Within Workday, configure EIBs, implement Core Connectors and develop Workday Studio integrations for complex use cases • Write XSLT transformations, work with XML/XPath, and configure web service calls (SOAP/REST) • Build effective and efficient Workday connectors to external third-party systems, including mapping data fields, ensuring data integrity and formatting • Conduct unit and end-to-end testing, monitor for failures and resolve production issues quickly • Maintain system security and compliance requirements in all work with special attention to PII data • Provide complete documentation through all phases of the project, meeting deliverables, ensuring successful knowledge transfer • Work under broad direction and be fully accountable for own technical work, project responsibilities, and team deliverables.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or Human Resources strongly preferred
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with demonstratable and broad HRIS experience, Workday required with a focus on reporting and analysis
- Workday certification required
- A minimum of 4 years of demonstrated success designing complex end-to-end integrations
- At least 2 years of experience using XSLT, XML/XPath, Workday Studio and SQL for data analysis / integrations through building and consuming SOAP and REST APIs
- Excellent PC Software knowledge and database reporting tools including Excel
- Proficiency in XSLT, XML/XPath, Workday Studio and SQL required
- Java Script, Workato, Boomi, Mulesoft, REST / JSON experience preferred
- Demonstrated experience accurately collecting information to understand and assess needs and using that information to develop and deliver timely solutions
- Integration design experience required
- Excellent business analysis skills: timeline planning, requirements definition and documentation, test planning, deployment approaches; exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities required
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision
- High level of discretion with ability to handle confidential and proprietary information appropriately
- High level of integrity.
