Job Description

Strategic Sourcing Analyst

SGS

• Manages RFx’s, suppliers, and collects and analyzes data related to the products and services of the company • Develops insight and expertise in the categories managed over time • Supports the team in the procurement of goods and services for technology, travel, fleet, MRO, and facilities • Leads and supports sourcing projects through a formalized process • Supports the development of category strategies and partners with key stakeholders • Supports indirect cost reduction by negotiating with suppliers • Manages the RFx’s process utilizing eProcurement tools • Develops new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive • Facilitates supplier relationship and performance reviews • Collaborates with Business Units to influence supplier engagement • Reviews supplier reporting to validate contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA)s are being met • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or other business-related discipline (required)
  • 3+ years of procurement-related experience (required)
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) (preferred)
  • Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, virtual and dynamic environment
  • Must be detail oriented and comfortable working on your own initiative
  • Excellent MS Office Excel skills, including creating and manipulating pivot tables
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Familiarity with eSourcing and eBuying tools, SharePoint
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
  • Ability to work collaboratively with both suppliers and key stakeholders.

Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support procurement and finance operations activities. While the title reflects a procurement role, the responsibilities are primarily operational and transactional in nature, similar to an Accounts Payable function. The role involves managing purchase orders, reviewing expense reports, supporting contract administration, and collaborating closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure compliance, accuracy, and process efficiency.
