Job Description
Head of Media – Creative Director, Performance Ads
The Growth Partner
• You’ll own the creative engine behind a $50M ARR AI-education business running ads across 3 active funnels (more launching). • Your team already produces ~100 ads per week — 5 editors plus a lead, plus 4 AI ad creators. • Your job is to keep that machine running at quality, feed it constant new ideas, and build the systems that let it scale as funnel count grows. • Hitting editing and production deadlines with zero quality errors. • Generating new creative ideas, angles, hooks, and concepts weekly. • Managing the editor team + AI ad creation specialists. • Coordinating script approval with our incoming direct-response copywriter. • Evolving the ticketing and brief-to-ship workflow as we scale.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years owning ad creative in performance marketing (Meta / Facebook ads non-negotiable)
- You’ve personally managed 3+ video editors, ideally including remote/offshore teams
- You’ve run an ad-production pipeline at 50+ ads per week in at least one role, and can walk us through the exact workflow
- You’ve shipped ads for info-product, coaching, bootcamp, trading, agency-services, or high-return DTC — categories with structural refund/chargeback pressure
- Strong signals:
- You have a hook library. You generate angles weekly. Competitor-ad research is a daily habit, not a quarterly project.
- Winning ads you produced are findable in FB Ad Library, case studies, or a public portfolio
- You’ve worked in-house at a known DTC/performance shop (Ridge, Obvi, Mid-Day Squares, Native, similar) OR at a high-ticket info-product/coaching brand
- You ship reliably. People who’ve worked with you describe you as “the one who hits deadlines” before they describe your taste.
- You’ve built brief templates, QA gates, or ticketing systems in a prior role
- We’re not the right fit for:
- TV, film, or brand-campaign backgrounds — the cadence doesn’t translate, we’ve seen it fail
- Creatives who prioritize aesthetic perfection over throughput and direct-response instinct
- Pure individual contributors with no team-management experience
- Anyone who hasn’t worked hands-on with live paid Meta ads
Benefits
- $150K – $200K total comp (base + performance bonus, geography-adjusted)
- Performance bonus tied to team throughput, quality, and deadline hit-rate — **NOT** to FB ad performance (that’s our CMO’s seat)
- 100% remote, async-friendly hours (overlap with UK/US East is a plus)
- Direct access to founders and CMO. Real budget. Real scope.
