• Install and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and perform their maintenance and qualification in accordance with contractual commitments • Advise users and provide training • Manage software and hardware updates and systematically document all changes • Maintain regular communication with customers • Follow existing procedures to guide your interventions and develop new ones • Actively contribute to customer success and satisfaction • Report your activities regularly using the provided tools • Contribute to the commercial development of the Service

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of a 2–3 year degree (e.g., Associate’s or short-cycle Bachelor’s) in Biology (biochemistry, biotechnology), Electronics/Electrotechnics, or Physical Measurements, or equivalent qualification
  • Proven laboratory experience (academic, pharmaceutical, research, etc.) with a troubleshooting mindset
  • Successful experience in maintenance (preventive and/or corrective)
  • Experience and/or knowledge of robotic/automated systems: fluorescence screening robotic platforms, pipetting robots/automated liquid handlers, DNA extractors, and plate readers
  • Comfortable with IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.)
  • Autonomous, well organized, and rigorous, with strong communication skills and a good team spirit
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional level of English (read, written and spoken)

This field service representative position will be within our U.S. Services business, specifically our Secure Power team, which focuses on servicing critical data center equipment. We are the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) service provider for APC (American Power Conversion)/Schneider Electric equipment.
