Role Description As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated Business Development Representative to join our team and help us expand our reach and impact. This position will play a key role in our commercial organization and represents a fantastic opportunity for a career in sales with a dynamic, thriving company. - Identify and qualify potential leads, outbound and inbound, by phone, email, social media messaging, and other media as they are made available. - Conduct preliminary research to understand a prospective customer and tailor sales strategy accordingly. - Effectively communicate product value to prospects and secure sales appointments. - Actively follow up with prospects to nurture relationships. - Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets for qualified opportunities, booked demos, and discovery calls to effectively build a sales pipeline. - Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives to maximize sales potential. - Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales activities and document customer interactions. - Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors’ offerings to effectively position our products and services. - Continuously develop sales skills and product knowledge through training, workshops, and self-learning to enhance sales performance. Qualifications - Has a proven track record of success, is concerned with meeting goals, and thrives in a target-driven sales environment. - Works with diligence and is resilient when obstacles present themselves. - Eager to learn and improve. Expects personal performance and team performance to be nothing short of the best. - Exceptional interpersonal skills: able to build rapport and establish trust. - High integrity: Does the right thing, treats everyone with respect, willing to admit fault and voice disagreement. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. - Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads, track activities, and analyze sales data. - Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. - Willing to travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events, as needed. - Desire to pursue a career in sales. Requirements - Preferred: Experience as an Inside Sales Representative or in a similar sales role, in a B2B environment, with a track record of successfully building a sales pipeline. - Preferred: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. - Preferred: Previous experience as a clinical research site coordinator or a highly similar position.
