• As an Account Executive, you’ll be the face of O.C. Tanner in your region—building relationships, solving problems, and helping organizations create cultures where people love to work. • You’ll focus on both new business development and client growth, working with a supportive team that’s invested in your success. • Prospect, plan, and close new business opportunities in your region • Build authentic relationships with key decision-makers and influencers • Own the full sales cycle—from outreach to proposal to contract • Collaborate with internal teams on RFPs and tailored client solutions • Keep your CRM game strong with accurate, up-to-date records • Grow revenue within existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling • Deepen client relationships by engaging across multiple levels, including the C-suite • Lead renewal and expansion conversations with confidence • Partner with Client Success to ensure long-term client happiness • Represent O.C. Tanner at industry events, tradeshows, and networking opportunities • Collaborate with Marketing on local campaigns and lead-gen events • Use social media to build your personal brand and expand your network • Stay sharp on HR trends, workplace culture, and employee experience
Job Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in tech sales, B2B sales, inside sales, or account management
- Track record of winning new business, growing accounts, and managing renewals
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communicator
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Confident building relationships at all levels, including executives
- Adaptable and great with people from all walks of life
- Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Tech-Savvy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experienced with CRMs, sales enablement tools, and digital platforms
- Active on LinkedIn and other business-facing social media
