Role Description The Fleet Manager is responsible for delivering exceptional client experiences by ensuring the fleet is highly functional, well-maintained, thoroughly documented, and equipped with advanced technology. Performs related duties as assigned. Qualifications - Associate Degree preferred. - 4+ years of mechanical repair. - Possession of a valid Driver’s License and DOT card. - Proficiency in MS Office suite required. - Demonstrated ability to deliver results while working on multiple projects simultaneously. - Must be able to read, write and speak English. Requirements - Commitment to Pipe View America’s core values, mission, and programs. - Monitor and act upon vehicle and equipment inspection reports. - Ensure vehicles and equipment are safe to operate per DOT and company standards. - Research and assist purchase of new fleet vehicles and equipment. - Update databases and inventory for new or removed vehicles and equipment. - Update databases and inventory for vehicle and equipment repairs. - Schedule equipment and vehicle repairs for minimum impact to operations. - Hold teammates accountable for timely and thorough reporting of damaged vehicles and equipment. - Hold teammates accountable for the cleanliness of their vehicles and equipment. - Repair equipment or vehicles when cost effective and time allows. - Transport vehicles or equipment to and from repair locations. - Train teammates on specific maintenance items they can perform on their equipment. - Assist with new teammate orientation of equipment, high level overview of maintenance and cost. - Attend meetings with senior management. - Performs related duties as required.
