Job Description
API Ecosystem Engineer
Adobe
Role Description We’re looking for an API Ecosystem Engineer to join our Partnerships & Developer Experience team. We’ll count on you to own the backend services and integration layer that powers our partner ecosystem, SDKs, and C2C infrastructure. We operate across product, partnerships, and engineering — building the connective tissue between Frame.io and the platforms our customers rely on. - Build and maintain partner integrations (Zapier, n8n, and others) using TypeScript and Node.js. - Contribute to C2C backend development, supporting real-time services that connect hardware partners and production teams to the cloud. - Maintain and evolve our TypeScript and Python SDKs for the Frame.io V4 API. - Design services that manage data flow, authentication handoffs (Adobe IMS / OAuth 2.0), webhook delivery, and event-driven communication between systems. - Collaborate across product, engineering, and partnerships to prioritize work and improve developer experience through documentation and reference implementations. Qualifications - 4–6+ years of engineering experience, ideally in API-first or service-focused environments. - Strong TypeScript skills focused on backend and services-layer development. - Solid understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhook architectures, and event-driven design patterns. - Experience building and publishing SDKs or developer-facing libraries. - A thoughtful approach to AI tooling — we use tools like Copilot and Claude Code and value people who harness them while maintaining the judgment to review output critically. - Comfort collaborating with partners, customers, and teams across multiple functions outside of engineering. - Bonus: experience with integration platforms (Zapier, Make), additional languages (Go, Python, Elixir), or real-time systems and media pipelines. Company Description Adobe empowers everyone to create through innovative platforms and tools that unleash creativity, productivity and personalized customer experiences. Adobe’s industry-leading offerings including Adobe Acrobat Studio, Adobe Express, Adobe Firefly, Creative Cloud, Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Experience Manager, and GenStudio enable people and businesses to turn ideas into impact, powered by AI and driven by human ingenuity. Our 30,000+ employees worldwide are creating the future and raising the bar as we drive the next decade of growth. We’re on a mission to hire the very best and believe in creating a company culture where all employees are empowered to make an impact. At Adobe, we believe that great ideas can come from anywhere in the organization. The next big idea could be yours.
